What is Email vService and WAF Reports Periodically?

Statistical information related to vServices and the WAF module can be automatically sent as an email report on TR7. This enables the services on TR7 to be regularly and systematically monitored.

Step > 1

The email settings for the email address that will send emails through TR7 must be configured. To check this configuration, follow the steps "Settings > General Settings > Notification Management". Click on the "E-mail Settings" tab and complete the necessary configurations specific to the mail server.

To define a report profile, follow the steps "Traffic Manager > Profiles > Report > Add". In the screen that appears, click the "E-mail Report" button and enter the email addresses to which the report will be sent. The email content and report frequency are adjusted according to the needs, and then the report profile is added.

To assign the created report profile to the vService where it will be activated, open the edit screen of the relevant vService. "Details > Report" is activated, and the created report profile is selected. For vService reports, emails can be sent to different email addresses with different content at various intervals. Multiple report profiles can be selected on the vService for this process.

The changes are applied by clicking the "Save" button.

For the automatic sending of WAF reports, follow the steps "Monitor Mode > Relevant vService > WAF Management". The "Periodic Reporting" editing screen will open. In the screen that appears, click the "E-mail Report" button and enter the email addresses to which the report will be sent. The email content and report frequency are adjusted according to the needs, and the automatic WAF report will be activated.
