How to Encrypt HTTP Cookie?

With Cookie Encryption on TR7 ASP, the content of cookies used by web browsers is encrypted. Cookie Encryption is used to protect the content of cookies. Cookies that contain particularly sensitive information (such as login information or personal preferences) should be encrypted. This helps protect cookies from unauthorized access and ensure user privacy. With the Cookie Encryption action, user privacy and security can be easily increased.

Interface

Step > 1

"Traffic Manager > Traffic Manipulation > Actions > Add" steps are followed. On the screen that opens, Cookie Encryption is selected as Action Type and the desired cookie names are written on the Cookies to Encrypt tab. If no cookie name is entered, all cookies are encrypted. The Action is created by clicking the Add button.

Step > 2

"vServices > Related vService" is selected and the editing screen opens. From the Details tab, Actions is activated and the created Action is selected.

The changes made for the vService are saved by clicking the Save button.
