How to Define RADIUS Users on TR7 ASP?

To integrate users to be added on the TR7 ASP device with RADIUS, the RADIUS connection configurations must be set up through the RADIUS Settings screen.

Follow the steps "Settings > User Management > Radius Settings" to open the screen where the RADIUS integration configurations can be made and viewed. Click the "Edit" button and enter the RADIUS information for the organization.

Click the "Save" button to save the changes. Click the "Check Radius Connection" button to test the RADIUS configuration.

After entering the necessary information for the RADIUS configuration, RADIUS users can be defined on TR7 ASP in two different methods.

Methods for Defining RADIUS Users

Method 1 > Manual Definition

Follow the steps "Settings > User Management > Device Users". Click the "Add" button to define a new RADIUS user. In the opened screen, select "Authorization Source" as "Radius", then set the user permission in the "User Type" field, and finally enter the username defined in RADIUS.

Click the "Add" button to define the RADIUS user on TR7 ASP.

Method 2 > Automatic Definition

By following the steps "Settings > User Management > Device Users > User Management Settings", the "Automatic User Creation" button is activated. "User Creation Source" is selected as "Radius", and "Default User Type To Create" is specified. This way, Radius users are automatically added to the Device Users list with the selected Default User Type from the first login, without the need to manually define a new user on TR7.
