What is SSL Bridge?

If application servers providing services in institutions/organizations operate over SSL, SSL Bridging can be configured on TR7 devices. This ensures that traffic between the TR7 and the application server is fully encrypted.

How to do SSL Bridge?

When defining a new backend service on TR7 ASP, you can easily enable the "SSL Service" button to secure TR7's communication with the defined backend service using SSL encryption.

Step > 1

"Traffic Manager > Backend Services" steps are followed. In the opened screen, click the Add/Edit button.

Step > 2

In the opened screen, activate the "SSL Service" button to configure the traffic between backend service and TR7 with SSL. (The SSL port must be specified when defining backend service, e.g., 443).

Step > 3

After the "SSL Service" button is activated, edit the "Cipher, SNI, ALPN" configurations based on the server's requirements, then click Add/Edit to save.
