Despite Performing the Analysis, the Sitemap Appeared Empty. What Could Be the Reason?

First, open the WAF Management screen for the related vService. Follow the steps "Monitor Mode > Related vService > WAF Management".

For the vService in Learning Mode, follow the steps "Analysis and Learning > Start Analyzing" to begin the analysis process.

After the analysis is completed, click the "New" button to review the summary information about the analysis. If the "Analysis Page Count/Current Page Count" is 0 and no path is listed when clicking the "Edit" button, this indicates that the site map is empty.

There could be several reasons for this.

Before starting the analysis for the service, check from the dashboard screen whether sufficient requests have been received by the service. If there is not enough traffic, the analysis results may not be accurate.

Once it is confirmed that sufficient requests have been received, ensure that the filtering operations in the "Analysis and Learning" screen are configured properly for the service. The default settings may not always be suitable for the analysis of the service.

All parameters such as the networks from which the requests came, whether the requests were made with a domain, whether there are any non-browser service access, or whether there are any user-agents blocked by the bot filters in the list should be examined in detail before starting the analysis.

The most important filtering method, "Rule Creating Mode," should be selected according to the service. When "Comprehensive" is selected, all incoming requests, whether static or dynamic, are analyzed, while "Data Based" creates the site map with data from dynamic requests such as POST methods. When "Page Independent" is selected, only the "Any Paths" rule is applied, and no path-based protection is made, meaning the site map will always appear empty. For "Page Independent," simply clicking the "Apply" button without making any changes is sufficient.
