Interface
IP Address Adding Form
As described in the "How to Add?" section, follow one of the IP address addition steps to open a new IP address addition form and add an IP address to the TR7 ASP.
- Route Table
Select the Route Table on which the IP address will be added. If no Route Table has been added, the selection cannot be made, and the IP address can be added to Interfaces on the DEFAULT Route Table. Click here for detailed information about Route Tables.
- IP Interface
After opening the IP address addition form, the interface on which the IP address will be added can be changed.
- IP Type
Select Interface IP. Interface IP addresses are used as Frontend IPs in vServices.
- IP
Enter the IP addresses to be added to the respective interface. You can add multiple IP addresses to the same interface at once by clicking the +
button on the right side of the IP tab. TR7 ASP devices support both IPv4 and IPv6. After entering IP addresses, TR7 automatically identifies the version of the entered IP address.
If an invalid IP address is entered, TR7 recognizes that the IP address is invalid and does not display any information about the version on the interface.
- IP Status
If IP Status is selected as enabled, the entered IP address is added to the TR7 ASP device in an accessible way.
If IP Status is selected as disabled, the entered IP address will be added to the TR7 ASP device in an inaccessible (disabled) way.
The disabled IP addresses added to the system appear as shown below.
The Disabled option is generally used when transferring the configuration from a different device to the TR7 ASP device. The IP address on the different device is added to the TR7 ASP as disabled to prevent conflicts in IP addresses. Later, when the IP address is deleted on a different device, it can be activated and used on TR7.
- Add IP
Click the Add IP
button to add the IP address.
o Appearance of Added IP Addresses in the Interface
After clicking the Add IP
button, the status of the IP address is displayed on the "Network > Interfaces" page.
After the first addition, IP addresses appear in red and then turn green, indicating that the IP addresses have been successfully added to the system.
