About
What Can Be Done on the Interfaces Screen?
On the "Network > Interfaces" screen, you can access the list of all interfaces defined on the TR7 ASP device. The operations that can be performed on this screen are listed in the table below.

Interface (A)
Network Interfaces Management (A)
Following the Network > Interfaces steps, you can access the list of all Interfaces on the TR7 ASP device.
- 1 (Information to Display in Table)
You can select which information to display in the table listing the Interfaces.
Selectable information that comes selected by default;
- Route Table
- Interface Name
- TR7 ASP Device Hostname > For more details click here.
- Routes
- Status
- Type
- IP Description
- 2 (Route Table)
The desired Route Table can be selected to list interfaces in that specific Route Table. For detailed information about Route Tables click here.
Warning
If there are multiple Route Tables on the TR7 ASP device, a Route Table selection can be made from the "Network > Interfaces" screen. If no Route Table has been added, it will not be listed here. For detailed information about Route Tables click here.
- 3 (Network Topology)
Click the Network Topology button to access the topology of the interfaces.
In the second example, it is easily understood from the topology that VLAN100 and VLAN200 have been created on the ETH-1 interface, and VLAN150 has been created on the ETH-3 and ETH-4 interfaces with LACP.
- 4 (Actions)
Click the Actions button to perform the actions shown below.
- To add an Interface click here.
- To add an IP Address to the Selected Interface click here.
- To add a Route click here.
- To add a Route Table click here.
- To Edit the Selected Interface click here.
o Delete Interface(s)
Interfaces can be deleted by selecting the desired interface or interfaces from the list and clicking the Delete Interface(s).
Warning
Interfaces with "Type > Physical" cannot be deleted from the TR7 ASP device. These interfaces are physically present on the device or have been added in a virtualization environment for a virtual TR7 device. It is recommended to seek assistance from the TR7 Support Team for this operation.
o Synchronize Network Config with System
Click the Synchronize Network with System button to synchronize the current configuration on the TR7 ASP device with the running system's configuration. After clicking the button, the status of the synchronization process can be followed from the icons shown below on the lower left of the TR7 web interface.
- 5 (Search)
Used to search all expressions in the table.
- 6 (Page Information)
Information about the number of Interfaces listed and the total number of Interfaces is available.
- 7 (Display of Interface and IP Addresses)
Information related to the status colors of interfaces and IP addresses is given in the visuals below.
Hovering over the status information on the interfaces reveals the status on the TR7 ASP device.

Right-Click Menus
The following actions can be quickly performed from the pop-up menu that appears when right-clicking on an interface, IP addresses and default gateway on the screen accessed by following "Network > Interfaces".
- Right-Clicking on an Interface
o Edit Interface
The editing form for the relevant interface opens. For details about the interface editing form click here.
o Down
If the selected interface is open, it can be disabled with the Down button.
o Up
If the selected interface is closed, it can be activated with the Up button.
o Stats
A window with the statistics and notifications for the relevant interface opens.
o Add IP
The IP address addition form for the relevant interface opens. To add an IP address to the selected interface click here.
o Add Route
The static routing addition form for the relevant interface opens. To add route click here.
- Right-Click on an IP Address
o Delete IP
The relevant IP address is deleted from the TR7 ASP device by clicking the Delete IP button.
o Edit IP
The editing form for the relevant IP address opens.
o (HOSTNAME) Enabke
If the related IP address is inactive, it can be activated by clicking the Enable button.
o (HOSTNAME) Disable
If the related IP address is active, it can be deactivated by clicking the Disable button.
o Edit Interface
The editing form for the relevant interface opens. For details about the interface editing form clck here.
o Down
If the selected interface is open, it can be disabled with the Down button.
o Up
If the selected interface is closed, it can be activated with the Up button.
o Stats
Opens a window with statistics and notifications related to the selected interface.
o Add IP
The IP address addition form for the relevant interface opens. To add an IP address to the selected interface click here.
o Add Route
The static routing addition form for the relevant interface opens. Click here to Add Route click here.
- Right-Clicking on the Default Gateway
o Edit Route
The editing form for the default gateway opens.
o Delete Route(s)
The default gateway is removed from the relevant interface.
o Edit Interface
The editing form for the relevant interface opens. For details about the interface editing form click here.
o Down
If the selected interface is open, it can be disabled with the Down button.
o Up
If the selected interface is closed, it can be activated with the Up button.
o Stats
A window with the statistics and notifications for the relevant interface opens.
o Add IP
The IP address addition form for the relevant interface opens. To add an IP address to the selected interface click here.
o Add Route
The static routing addition form for the relevant interface opens. To Add Route click here.
Interface (B)
Details of the Selected Interface (B)
After following the "Network > Interfaces" steps, clicking on any interface opens a window on the right side with information about the relevant interface.
- 7 (Show/Hide Topology of the Relevant Interface)
Clicking the icon next to the interface name hides the topology of the relevant interface.
- 8 (Actions)
Clicking the Actions button allows the following actions to be performed on the relevant interface.
o Stats
A window with the statistics and notifications for the relevant interface opens.
o Delete Interface
The relevant interface is deleted from the TR7 ASP device by clicking the Delete button.
o Edit Interface
The editing form for the relevant interface opens. For details about the interface editing form click here.
o Up
If the selected interface is closed, it can be activated with the Up button.
o Down
If the selected interface is open, it can be deactivated with the Down button.
- 9 (Topology of the Relevant Interface)
A diagram depicting the topology related to the specific interface is available.
- 10 (Add IP)
The form to add an IP address to the relevant interface opens. To add an IP address to the selected interface click here.
- 13 (Add Route)
The form to add static routing to the relevant interface opens. To Add Route click here.
- 12 (Enable/Disable the Relevant Interface)
The Enable - Disable buttons are used to activate or deactivate the relevant interface. Additionally, information such as the interface traffic, VIP information, MAC address, MTU, speed and Route Table related to the specific interface can be checked from here.

- 16 (Route Table Actions)
By clicking the Actions button, the following operations can be performed for the Route Table that the relevant interface belongs to.
o Edit
The editing form for the relevant Route Table opens.
o Delete
The relevant Route Table is deleted.
o Stats
A window with the statistics and notifications for the relevant Route Table opens.
