General Settings

The General Settings tab provides access to settings for License, Localization, Device DNS, NTP, Update, IP Intelligence and Notification Management.

License

The License screen provides details about the license information specifically defined for your institution. Usually, licenses for physical TR7 ASP devices come pre-defined. However, for POC (virtual TR7) products, the licensing steps are performed by the institution. Click here to access the document on how the license definition is initially done.

Localization

The Localization screen allows for changing general configurations (like logo, language) related to TR7 ASP.

Device DNS

The Device DNS screen allows for the entry of the IP address of the DNS server to which the TR7 ASP device will connect. Multiple DNS servers can be added. Additionally, virtual host groups can also be defined on this screen.

NTP

The TR7 ASP device uses NTP servers for its system time. The default NTP server is "tr.pool.ntp.org." NTP servers operating in the local network or accessible externally can be defined on the TR7 ASP device.

Update

The Update screen allows for checking updates for the TR7 ASP device. Updates can be done both online and offline.

IP Intelligence

This is the section where IP reputation processes are conducted, and blacklisted IPv4 and IPv6 addresses can be detected and updated through TR7 license servers. Blacklisted IPv4 and IPv6 addresses on the TR7 ASP device can be checked. Whitelist and Blacklist IP addresses can also be added manually.

Notification Management
