About
What is a License?
The License screen provides access to the details of the license specifically defined for your institution. Generally, license definitions come pre-installed on physical TR7 ASP devices. However, for Virtual TR7 devices, the licensing steps are performed by the institution or the TR7 Support Team. License operations can be performed both online and offline. Helpful Information
For TR7 ASP devices operating in a cluster, License settings need to be performed separately.
Interface
License Screen
By following the steps "Settings > General Settings > License" you can view the license information defined by the TR7 Support Team for the TR7 ASP device. This screen allows for querying the license via the internet or manually adding the license ID and license key.
- Button Details
Clicking the Download License button checks the license from the TR7 license server.
If you have a valid license, the following warning window is displayed.
If you have an invalid license, the following warning window is displayed.
You can define a license offline by clicking on the Update License Manually button and pasting the License ID and License Key given by the TR7 Support Team into the relevant sections.
Descriptions (Valid License)
- License Status
Displays whether your license is valid or invalid.
- Company
Displays the name of the license specifically defined for your company on the TR7 license server.
- License ID
Displays the ID information of the defined license.
- Device ID
Displays the unique number of the TR7 device. The license information is defined with this ID.
- License Type
Displays whether the defined license is for a virtual or a physical TR7 device.
- License Start Date
Displays the start date and time of the defined license.
- License Expire Date
Displays the end date and time of the defined license.
- Clustering
Displays whether the Clustering license is defined.
- Firewall
Displays whether the Firewall license is defined.
- vDevices
Displays information about the maximum number of vDevices that can be opened on the device.
- Cache
Displays whether the Cache license is defined.
- FKM
Displays whether the Global Traffic Manager (GTM) license is defined.
- WAF
Displays whether the WAF license is defined.
- Cloud Client
Displays information about the maximum number of Cloud Clients that can be defined on the device.
- DDOS
Displays whether the DDOS license is defined.
- SSL VPN
Displays whether the SSL VPN license is defined.

Displays the ID information of the defined license.

Displays the unique number of the TR7 device. The license information is defined with this ID.
