What is Localization?
The Localization screen allows for changing general configurations related to TR7 ASP (such as logo and language).
Helpful Information
For TR7 ASP devices operating in a cluster, it's not necessary to perform Localization settings separately. Changes made in the interface of the TR7 ASP device selected as the 1st device are automatically passed to the 2nd TR7 ASP device. Only the Server Name needs to be set separately.
Interface
Localization Screen
By following the steps "Settings > General Settings > Localization" you can view the localization information for the TR7 ASP device. This screen allows for changing the Company Name, Server Name (Hostname), Default Language and Logo.
- Button Details
Clicking the Edit button allows for changing localization settings.
- Company Name
Used to display your company name on the TR7 ASP web interface. The entered Company Name also appears in the TR7 web interface, WAF, and vService Reports.
- Server Name (Hostname)
This is the setting used to identify the TR7 ASP device on the local network and is registered as the local hostname. The system uses this server name for internal DNS resolutions.
- Default Language
Used to determine which language option the TR7 web interface will be displayed in.
- Update Logo
By clicking the Update Logo button, you can change the logo using the file select or drag and drop method in the section that opens below. The uploaded Logo also appears in the WAF and vService Reports.
- Save
Clicking the Save button saves the changes made.
