About
LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) configurations for TR7 ASP devices are done through this screen to enable the integration of added users with LDAP. When adding users in the Device Users step, LDAP should be selected as the Authentication Source.
Additional Information
For TR7 ASP devices operating as clusters, there is no need to configure LDAP settings separately. Changes made on the interface of the selected TR7 ASP device as the 1st device are automatically reflected on the 2nd TR7 ASP device.

LDAP Settings Screen
By following the steps "Settings > User Management > LDAP Settings" you can view the LDAP integration information for the TR7 ASP device.
- Button Details
Click the Edit button to modify LDAP settings.
- LDAP Host
Enter the host information of the LDAP server (IP address or domain name). Protocol (http, https) and port information should not be included.
- LDAP Port
Enter the port information of the LDAP server.
- TLS
Select whether to connect with TLS encryption.
- LDAP Principal Pattern
Enter the information for the structure of LDAP users connections.
For example, it should be defined as "$USERNAME@tr7test.com" for the "tr7test.com" domain name.
Additional Information
Users should be added without a domain name in the Device Users step Device Users.
- Base DN
Specify the Base DN information.
For example, it should be defined as "DC=tr7test", "DC=com" for the "tr7test.com" domain name.
- LDAP Query User
The username and password to be used during the LDAP connection are entered. The information for the Base field to be checked is filled in.
- LDAP E-mail Attribute Name
Enter the Attribute name from which the e-mail information will be obtained.
- LDAP Mobile Attribute Name
Enter the Attribute name from which the phone numbers will be obtained.
- Save
Click the Save button to save the changes.
You can check whether the configurations are successful or not by clicking the Check LDAP Connection' button.
