TACACS Settings
About
TACACS configurations for TR7 ASP devices are done through this screen to enable the integration of added users with TACACS. When adding users in the Device Users step, TACACS should be selected as the Authentication Source.
Additional Information
For TR7 ASP devices operating as clusters, there is no need to configure TACACS settings separately. Changes made on the interface of the selected TR7 ASP device as the 1st device are automatically reflected on the 2nd TR7 ASP device.

TACACS Settings Screen
By following the steps "Settings > User Management > TACACS Settings" you can view the TACACS integration information for the TR7 ASP device.
- Button Details
Click the Edit button to modify TACACS settings.
- TACACS Host
The host information (IP address or domain name) of the TACACS server is written. Protocol (http, https) and port information should not be included.
- TACACS Port
Enter the port information of the TACACS server.
- TACACS Secret
The Secret information defined on the TACACS server is written.
- Accounting
- Accounting Username
Username information is entered.
- Accounting Password
Password information is entered.
- Accounting Service Name
Accounting Service Name information is entered.
- Accounting Protocol Name
Accounting Protocol Name information is entered.
- Accounting Log Language
Log language selection is made.
- Save
Click the Save button to save the changes.
You can check whether the configurations are successful or not by clicking the Check TACACS Connection' button.
