Backup
About
The backup screen allows backup operations on the TR7 ASP device to be managed and monitored both automatically (every night at 00:00) and manually from this screen. Information such as which user took the backup file, the size of the file to be downloaded, the names of vDevices defined on the device, the names of vServices, and the status of changes are displayed. In addition, backup files added daily on the system can be exported and stored in JSON format.
How to Add?
To add a new backup file, navigate to the Settings > Backup > Add tab from the TR7 ASP web interface.

Backup Files Listing Screen
By following the steps "Settings > Backup", you can access the list of all backup files attached to the TR7 ASP device. Backup file addition, deletion, and matching operations are performed on this screen.
- 1 (Information to be Displayed in the Table)
Select which information will be displayed in the table listing backup files.
Information that can be selected and comes selected as default;
- Actions
- Backup Name
- Size
- vService Names
- Last Actions Date
- Backup User
- vDevices
- 2 (Selecting a Time Interval)
Select the time interval in which backup files will be displayed.
- 3 (Refresh the List)
Click the Refresh List button to list the relevant backup files after selecting a time interval.
- 4 (Add)
Click the Add button to create or upload a new backup file.
o Backup source
- System (Current) > A new Backup file is selected to be created.
- From File > It is used to upload a previously exported Backup file to the TR7 ASP device.
o Backup Name
The Backup file to be created is given a name.
o Sumbit
Click the Sumbit button to create a new backup file instantly.
- 5 (Delete)
By selecting one or more backup files and clicking the Delete button, the relevant backup files are deleted from the TR7 ASP device.
- 6 (Search)
Used to search for all expressions in the table.
- 7 (RegExp Search)
Used to regexp search for all expressions in the table.
- 8 (Column Based Search)
Used to column based search for all expressions in the table.
- 9 (Apply Backup File)
Click the Apply Backup File icon to match the TR7 ASP device according to the configurations of the relevant backup file.
- 10 (Page Information)
The information about how many backup files are available in the opened list and how many backup files are listed is available here. When backup files are selected for deletion, the information of the selected backup files are also displayed here.
- 11 (Page Size)
Select how many backup files will be listed in the opened list. You can switch between pages using arrow icons.
- Preview of the Selected Backup File
After following the steps "Settings > Backup", when you click on any backup file, a window opens below with information about the relevant file.
o 1 (Download Backup File)
Click the Download Backup File button to download the zip file.
o 1 (Apply backup file)
Click the Apply backup file icon to match the TR7 ASP device according to the configurations of the relevant backup file.
o 1 (Export WAF rules)
Click the Export WAF rules icon to export WAF rules of the relevant backup file.
