vDevices

About

vDevices are a software layer used to create multiple completely isolated networks on the TR7 ASP device. vDevices are used to provide protection against potential DDoS attacks. Each network can have its own default gateway. vDevices can be created in unlimited numbers as long as the license and physical hardware allow it. Each vDevices can be allocated network interfaces, processor cores, memory, and disk space as long as the physical hardware permits.

How to Add?

To add a new vDevices, navigate to the Settings > vDevices > Add tab from the TR7 ASP web interface.

Additional Information

In TR7 ASP devices that work as a cluster, there is no need to separately configure vDevices (such as creating, editing and deleting) settings. Changes made to the interface of the selected TR7 ASP device as the 1st device automatically apply to the 2nd TR7 ASP device.
