Add HTTP Header
About
Add HTTP Header action is generally used to add a HTTP header and its contents to the request that was made to the vServices during Request or Response time.
How to Add?
To add the Add HTTP Header action from TR7 ASP web interface, "Traffic Manager > Traffic Manipulation > Actions > Add" steps are followed. At the current page Add HTTP Header is selected as an Action Type and the following form is shown.

Interface
Add HTTP Header Form
- Action Name
Name for the action is entered.
- Action Type
Add HTTP Header is selected.
- Execution Level
Action is triggered when the request arrives at the vService.
Action is triggered when the response from the Backend Service arrives to the vService.
- Header to Add
The name of the header to be added during the Execution Level is entered.
- Header Content
The content of the header to be added during the Execution Level is entered. Desired information can be added with fx dynamic variables.
- Conditions
Condition(s) that will trigger the action is/are selected. For detailed information about conditions, click here.
- Form Buttons
Add button can be clicked to add the configured action.
Add & Repeat button can be clicked to add the configured action. New similar actions can also be added without losing the current configuration by clicking this button. The following alert is shown when the button is clicked.
