Captcha Protection
About
The CAPTCHA Protection action is used to display a CAPTCHA based on selected conditions for incoming requests to the vServices. By adding different conditions, requests from botnets or bot networks can be blocked using the CAPTCHA Protection action.
How to Add?
To add the CAPTCHA Protection action from TR7 ASP web interface, "Traffic Manager > Traffic Manipulation > Actions > Add" steps are followed. At the current page CAPTCHA Protection is selected as an Action Type and the following form is shown.

CAPTCHA Protection Form
- Action Name
Name for the action is entered.
- Action Type
CAPTCHA Protection is selected.
- Number of Shown Captchas /2min
Choose how many times the CAPTCHA page can be displayed within a 2-minute period.
- Blacklist Timeout
Enter the duration for which users added to the blacklist will remain in the blacklist, in seconds, minutes, or hours.
- Whitelist Timeout
Enter the duration for which users added to the whitelist will remain in the whitelist, in seconds, minutes, or hours.
- Captcha Language
Choose a language to be shown in Captcha.
- Conditions
Condition(s) that will trigger the action is/are selected. For detailed information about conditions, click here.
- Form Buttons
Add button can be clicked to add the configured action.
Add & Repeat button can be clicked to add the configured action. New similar actions can also be added without losing the current configuration by clicking this button. The following alert is shown when the button is clicked.
