URL Normalization
About
The URL Normalization action is used to make adjustments in areas like path and query in requests coming to the vServices. Additionally, compatibility-related rules can be added for requests coming from older clients.
How to Add?
To add the URL Normalization action, follow the steps of Traffic Manager > Traffic Manipulation > Actions > Add via the TR7 ASP web interface. On the upcoming page, select URL Normalization as the Action Type to obtain the following form.

- Network

URL Normalization Form
- Action Name
Name for the action is entered.
- Action Type
URL Normalization is selected.
- Normalization
With the normalization selection, normalization can be provided in the vServices with the information that can be selected below.
- Normalization Choices
Multiple selections can be made at the same time under the normalization tab.
- Conditions
Condition(s) that will trigger the action is/are selected. For detailed information about conditions, click here.
- Form Buttons
Add button can be clicked to add the configured action.
Add & Repeat button can be clicked to add the configured action. New similar actions can also be added without losing the current configuration by clicking this button. The following alert is shown when the button is clicked.
