Bot Type
About
The Bot Type condition is used to manipulate users who come with harmful User-Agent header information via the selected action. For example, clients coming with harmful User-Agent header information are blocked by selecting the Block action.
How to Add?
To add the Bot Type condition, follow the steps of "Traffic Manager > Traffic Manipulation > Conditions > Add" through the TR7 ASP web interface. On the page that appears, select Bot Type as the Criteria to obtain the form below.

- Condition Name (Optional)
Name for the condition is entered. If no name is given to the condition Condition Description will be visible in the TR7 ASP interface to represent the added condition.
- Criteria
Bot Type is selected.
- Bot Type
There are 11 different types of bot types on the TR7 ASP device. The desired bot types are selected to create the condition.
Multiple bot types can be selected.
- Condition Description
Condition description is generated automatically depending on the configuration.
- Form Buttons
Add button can be clicked to add the configured condition.
Add & Repeat button can be clicked to add the configured condition. With this option, new conditions with different configurations can be added without leaving the current tab. Following alert is given when the button is clicked.
