Pages & Language

Pages & Language is the group that collects the profiles that determine the pages the AGS-enabled vServices show to the user and the language of these pages: the login forms that take the credentials from the user, the page templates that determine the logo, the color and the background of the access pages, and the dictionaries that provide the multilingual resolution of the texts. In the AGS tab in the Configuration Menu this group contains three screens; the left menu lists the screens in the order they are in the interface.

The login form is added to the access flow of the vService as the form step; the page template and the dictionary, on the other hand, are selected from the Page template and Dictionary fields in the AGS settings of the vService. Every screen comes with built-in profiles (Basic Login / Email Login, Default / Minimal Page Template, Default Dictionary / English Only); the built-in profiles are not seen in the lists, they are selected directly in the selectors in the vService settings and in the flow editor.

How do the screens work together?

  1. The supported languages and the translation keys are defined on the Dictionaries (Multilingual) screen (or the built-in Default Dictionary is used).
  2. The appearance of the access pages (the logo, the favicon, the color, the header/footer, the background) is determined on the Page Templates screen; the texts can be bound to a dictionary key with the Dictionary type.
  3. The form that will be shown to the user is designed field by field on the Login Forms screen; the label and help texts can use the same dictionary keys.
  4. Page template and Dictionary are selected in the AGS settings of the vService and a form is assigned to the form step in the flow editor; the pages are offered with the selected template and language.
