sys-cmd ip show route
sys-cmd ip show route is the subcommand defined for listing the routing rules of the selected route table.
It does not work in this version
When the command is typed, it gives a Command not found: route error; and when sys-cmd ip show is typed and Tab is pressed, address, which is the only option, is completed by itself. The subcommand is defined, but the command line does not recognize it in this version.
# type ip show and press Tab: address, the only option, is completed
admin@TR7LBWAF01> sys-cmd ip show address
admin@TR7LBWAF01> sys-cmd ip show route
Command not found: route
admin@TR7LBWAF01>
Where Is the Same Information Obtained From?
| Information | Command |
|---|---|
| The active routing table of the selected route table | sys-cmd netstat -rn |
| The static routes defined on a v-device | network route list v-device <v-device> |
| The paths learned with dynamic routing | Inside sys-cmd frr-console, show ip route |
# the routes of the selected route table
admin@TR7LBWAF01> sys-cmd netstat -rn
# those of another route table
admin@TR7LBWAF01> sys-cmd route-table set v-device Host route-table <route-table>
admin@TR7LBWAF01> sys-cmd netstat -rn
admin@TR7LBWAF01>
In the netstat -rn output, the line with the destination 0.0.0.0 is the default route; if this line is not there, the route table does not have a defined path out. The routes are also managed from the Route Tables page.
