Maintenance & Interactive

The Maintenance & Interactive group gathers the commands that touch the device's own health: showing the memory usage and emptying the caches, adding a new disk attached to the virtual machine to the data disk, opening the dynamic routing console, checking the service that provides access to the management interface, and producing the diagnostic bundle to be sent to the TR7 support team. These commands work with fixed subcommands; some of them ask for confirmation and some open an interactive session.

The result line in commands that ask for confirmation

The memory and management-access restart commands write a green success message when the work finishes. This message is written without looking at the exit status of the operation; if there are red error lines above it, the operation may not have been completed.
