Azure

TR7 is deployed as a ready image over Azure Marketplace. In this section the installation of a TR7 virtual machine on Azure, the access and user management after the deployment, the forming of the interface and IP topology, the installation of the two-device HA cluster structure and the configuration of the Virtual IP (VIP) that is carried automatically in a failover are explained step by step.

The software defined network of Azure behaves differently from the on-premises installations: for an IP to be able to take traffic, it must be defined not only on TR7 but on the Azure side as well (in the NIC IP configuration). The guides in this section apply this rule from the beginning to the end by showing every step separately on the Azure portal and on the TR7 interface side.
