Deployment Guide

A TR7 virtual machine is deployed over Azure Marketplace by following the steps below. Most of the tabs in the deployment wizard are configured freely according to the preferences of the institution; there is only one obligatory setting: Password must be selected as the authentication type. This point is emphasized separately in the relevant step.

Step 1 Find the offer on the Marketplace

The TR7 offer wanted is found on the Marketplace.

Step 2 Select the plan

The plan wanted is selected on the offer and the Create button is clicked.

Step 3 The Basics tab

The VM deployment settings are selected according to the preferences of the institution.

WARNING

In the Authentication type field Password must certainly be selected.

In the Username field the expression tr7 must not be present; it is not possible to log in to a machine whose user name contains tr7.

Step 4 The Disks tab

The OS disk size field is left as Image default; the remaining settings are selected according to the preference.

Step 5 The Networking tab

It is configured in a way suitable for the own network layout of the institution.

Step 6 The Management tab

The settings are configured according to the preference.

Step 7 The Monitoring tab

The settings are selected according to the preference.

The settings are selected according to the preference.

Step 9 The Tags tab

The settings are selected according to the preference.

Step 10 The Review + create tab

The last checks are made and the deployment is completed.

When the deployment is completed, the device starts to be used by logging in with the user name and the password determined during the deployment. For the access to the device from the browser and with SSH together with creating a new user the Access and User Management page, and for the interface and IP layout the Network and Interfaces Setup page is followed.
