IP & Interface Status
The IP & Interface Status group gathers the sys-cmd ip show commands that show the network interfaces in the selected route table and the IP addresses on them. These commands do not take free parameters; they work only with fixed subcommands.
In this version only ip show address works
When sys-cmd ip show is typed and Tab is pressed, address, which is the only option, is completed by itself. The ip show link and ip show route subcommands are not recognized by the command line in this version and give a Command not found: link / Command not found: route error. The same information is obtained with the commands in the table below.
Command Summary
# type ip and show and press Tab: because there is a single option at each step, the word is completed by itself
admin@TR7LBWAF01> sys-cmd ip show address
admin@TR7LBWAF01>

Where Is Which Information Obtained From?
| Information | Command |
|---|---|
| The IP addresses and the prefix lengths of the interfaces | sys-cmd ip show address |
| Whether the interface is up, the physical link, the MTU and the MAC address | sys-cmd ip show address |
| The packet, error and dropped packet counts per interface | sys-cmd netstat -i |
| The routes of the route table | sys-cmd netstat -rn |
| The static routes defined on the route table | network route list v-device <v-device> |
Common Behavior
| Subject | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Writing | No word is written after the subcommand; an addition such as sys-cmd ip show address eth0 gives a Command not found error. The output is filtered with | grep. |
| Context | It shows the interfaces of the selected v-device and route table; for another route table, route-table set is run first. |
| Recording | Every run is written to the user logs. |
