Standard Log Format (HTTP)

About the Format

Standard Log Format is a basic log format compatible with Apache Common Log Format (CLF) in terms of field layout. It takes place in the Line Format list in the profile form with the Standard Log Format option.

This format records the basic information of HTTP requests in a compact way. Thanks to its simple structure, it provides low resource consumption and is compatible with most log analysis tools.

Use cases

  • Basic access logging requirements.
  • Environments where low log volume is desired.
  • Integration with systems expecting Apache log format.

Supported Features

HTTP vService
L7 TCP vService
WAF Information
SSL Information

WARNING

If this format is assigned to an L7 TCP vService, the line silently turns into the Standard (L7 TCP) format.

If no profile is assigned, the address of the side that connects to TR7, that is, the outgoing address of the proxy/CDN, appears in the field.
