Profiles
Profiles are reusable building blocks that make it possible for the recurring configurations on TR7 to be defined centrally and assigned to the related vService or Backend Services. A profile is defined once, can be assigned to more than one service, and a change made to it instantly affects all the connected services.
Thanks to this approach, behaviors such as health checking, compression, caching, real client IP resolution, timeout, limit, logging, reporting and notification are managed from a single point, consistently and in a scalable way.

Performance and Content
Compression
Compresses the HTTP responses with GZIP/DEFLATE and reduces the bandwidth and the loading time.
→
Cache
Caches the frequently accessed content and lowers the Backend Service load and the response time.
→
Content Pages
Serves custom HTML content to the clients in error, blocking and special scenarios.
→
Traffic Control and Protection
Timeouts
Controls the connection and session timeout periods; terminates the connections that do not respond.
→
vService Limits
Protects against excessive load and attacks by limiting the connection, session and SSL traffic.
→
Trusted Proxies
Resolves the real client IP address with the headers coming from the trusted proxy/CDN layers in front of TR7.
→
Monitoring and Operation
Health Checks
Periodically checks the health status of the Backend Services; automatically takes a faulty service out of traffic.
→
Logs
Sends the access logs to syslog/SIEM servers in different formats (Apache, CEF, JSON).
→
Notifications
Sends a notification by e-mail, SMS, SNMP or the UI on metric thresholds and status changes.
→
Reports
Converts the vService traffic statistics into PDF/Excel/HTML reports; sends automatic e-mails.
